Linda Zecher is currently the Managing Director of the Barkley Group. Prior to founding the Barkley Group, Ms. Zecher retired as President, CEO and Director of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, a global education and learning company. (HMHC -NASDAQ)
Previously Ms. Zecher held senior roles with several top technology corporations. She was Corporate Vice President of Microsoft's Worldwide Public Sector organization, Senior Vice President of Oracle's Government, Education, Telecommunications, Financial Services, and Healthcare Applications Division, and the 9th employee of PeopleSoft as VP of Sales and Marketing and later starting the International Division.
She began her career as a Geophysicist with Texas Instruments and later joined Bank of America as Vice President of the Business Services Division.
Ms. Zecher has previously served on the U.S. State Department’s Board for Overseas Schools, The Emily Couric Leadership Forum, James Madison University Board of Visitors, the Tandem Friends School Board, Cradles to Crayons Board, and the Intelligence and National Security Association (INSA) Board.
Ms. Zecher currently is a member of the Hasbro Corporation Board where she serves on the Audit and Compensation committees, the John F. Kennedy Foundation Board where she serves on the Finance and Technology committees, and the Advisory Board for the Focused Ultrasound Foundation.
Ms. Zecher holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio State University and an Honorary Doctorate from Bentley University.
